Hawthorne's NY Pizza and Bar Concord

### ⭐⭐⭐ Good flavor, but the quality and effort have gone downhill I really want to like this place, but I’m getting to the point where I have to question why I keep paying for a pizza that seems to require less and less effort each time. I’ve eaten here multiple times over the years and I **always order the same pizza** because I genuinely like the flavor. Unfortunately, the quality and attention to detail seem to be getting worse with each visit. The biggest problem is the way the pizza is being made. The **center of the pizza has a disproportionately large amount of cheese and toppings, while the toppings become increasingly sparse toward the edges**. There are even entire sections of slices that are essentially nothing but sauce and crust. Looking at the pizza, it’s pretty obvious that the toppings and cheese are being concentrated in the middle rather than being evenly distributed across the entire pizza. To me, that isn't simply a matter of preference—it reflects a **lack of attention and care during preparation**. A pizza shouldn't have a heavily loaded center and practically bare edges. And the price makes this even more frustrating. The cost of this pizza has increase

Great place in gorgeous downtown Concord. Cute cocktails available or true-blue standards. Cheese sticks were perfectly cooked and the marinara is delicious. But this mozzarella basil pizza? Scrumptious. The drizzle of balsamic makes it. Great, energetic, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about this place! Kenzie was our waitress and she could not have been more accommodating! The garlic knots were THE BEST that I’ve ever had! They take pride in their food and their customer service and it shows. The manager Teddy stopped by our table to say hi and check on everything, and he was great too!! All around great experience!

Was craving pizza tonight, while out of town for work. Wound up picking Hawthorne's!! Man it didn't disappoint, from the host to the waitress and the rest of the staff!!!! Waitress gave me a Military discount without me asking (because of my Veteran hat) which never happens without me asking!! Thought that was very kind of her!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at Hawthornes NY Pizza! From the moment we arrived, Kiki was an awesome server very attentive, friendly, and always had a beautiful smile. She made sure we had everything we needed and really helped make our visit special. The food was fantastic! For appetizers we had the mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings, which were both delicious. The kids loved their pepperoni pizza and chicken tenders with waffle fries. We also ordered a pepperoni and cheese calzone, the Cajun pasta, and the Capellini Supreme pasta, and everything was absolutely on point. My whole family really enjoyed the meal. We sat outside and the location and atmosphere were just perfect. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!
